Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT) JEE Advanced 2023 Entrance Exam Result

The IIT JEE Advanced is a highly competitive examination conducted annually in India for admission to undergraduate programs in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The results of the IIT JEE Advanced are eagerly awaited by thousands of aspiring students across the country.

When the results are declared, they are typically made available online on the official website of the organizing institute. Students can access their results by entering their roll number and other required details. The results are displayed in the form of a scorecard, which provides information about the candidate's performance in the examination.

The IIT JEE Advanced result includes the following details:

1. Overall score: It represents the total marks obtained by the candidate in the examination. The score is calculated based on the performance in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the JEE Advanced.

2. Subject-wise score: The result also includes the individual scores obtained in each subject, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. These scores help in assessing the candidate's performance in each subject.

3. All India Rank (AIR): The rank secured by the candidate among all the test-takers is mentioned in the result. The rank is based on the overall score obtained in the examination and determines the candidate's position in the merit list.

4. Category-wise Rank: In addition to the All India Rank, the result also provides the category-wise rank, such as General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, etc. This rank is essential for candidates belonging to reserved categories and helps determine their eligibility for seat allocation.

5. Qualifying Status: The result indicates whether the candidate has qualified for admission to the IITs or not. It is determined based on various factors, including the cutoff scores set by individual IITs.

6. Minimum Aggregate Marks: The result may also mention the minimum aggregate marks required to be eligible for admission. This cutoff is decided by the organizing institute and varies each year.

It's important to note that the IIT JEE Advanced result is only the first step in the admission process. Qualified candidates need to participate in counseling and seat allocation procedures conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to secure admission into the desired IITs and other participating institutes.

Overall, the announcement of the IIT JEE Advanced result is a significant event for students as it determines their chances of gaining admission to one of the most prestigious engineering institutes in India.
